Dhiraj is the Tournament Director for the upcoming ICC World Cup in Oct'23. He is also the ICC representative in India.
Dhiraj was the CEO Delhi Capitals, IPL franchise, till 31st July'23. Prior to that he was the General Manager of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
A seasoned sports administrator, Dhiraj has diversified experience of more than 24 years that includes working with International Cricket Council (ICC), Wasserman Media Group (WMG), and International Management Group (IMG) among others.
IPL: His first association with IPL was in 2008 when he was appointed as Tournament Director, IPL . He was a part of the core team that set up IPL in 2008.
ICC World Cup Cricket: Dhiraj has been an integral part of the ICC core team since 2005. He has led all the biggest Men and Women ICC tournaments since 2005.
Priyanka Kaul
In her career spanning over 25 years has held various leadership positions. She has created Award winning Events and Campaigns. She has been the architect of many international award-winning media campaigns like "Save Our Tigers", "Greenathon", “Our Girls, Our Pride” "Support My School", "Banega Swachh India", "Mission Paani", “Marks for Sports” to name a few.
She was CEO, Forbes India and President - Marketing and Special Projects, Network18 Group. She has also been the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer , NDTV Group.
Priyanka has also led Events and Campaign verticals in NDTV and Network 18 groups which included trusted brands like
CNN News18, CNBC TV.
She has won several national and international awards for her work like the Common Wealth Broadcasting Awards in Johannesburg (CBA) One World Media Award for the best Brand Campaign with a Social Message. Her campaign with Gates Foundation, on maternal and child health won Gold at the New York Film Festival. Priyanka also represented India at the First BRICS Media Summit in Beijing in 2015. She was invited to speak at the World Economic Forum at Davos for her campaign on Water.
Priyanka has completed Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School, Boston.
Priyanka believes that through University Sports we can ignite change that holds the potential to transform the landscape of sports in India from the ground up.
Saurav Banerjee
He has held several leadership roles in Management and Finance over the last couple of decades. He has also been a Venture Capitalist and a Sports Tech entrepreneur. His passion and vision for Sports is well documented as the Founder and MD of MyySports, one of India's fastest growing Sports Tech Platform.
Saurav was the Co-CEO & CFO of NDTV Group. He was also a Venture Capitalist with Kalaari , a leading VC firm. He has vast experience in setting up new ventures, managing & realigning operations and raising capital. Saurav is a Chartered Accountant and started his journey with PwC in its Global Capital Market Group. He has completed Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School, Boston.
Saurav believes that despite the immense talent that resides within our country, many aspiring athletes face hurdles in accessing proper training, facilities, and opportunities. Through University Sports, he aims to make a lasting impact on the lives of young athletes and contribute to the sporting legacy of our nation.
In 2013, NDTV organised University Cricket Championship (Rohinton Baria) for NDTV in partnership with AIU. Priyanka, Dhiraj and Saurav led the team which implemented this initiative. The tournament was a huge success and was televised on Star Sports which had a viewership of 100 million.
